Shalvin was born and raised in Fiji where he enjoyed exploring the natural beauty of the country by hiking and visiting communities. He fell in love with Canmore the moment he stepped foot into town. The atmosphere and the people of Canmore make him feel right at home. Shalvin and Emmy got married in Canmore and they welcomed their son (Oliver) in the spring of 2023. They also have an adorable aussiedoodle puppy (Daisy). Shalvin enjoys hiking, golfing, tennis in the summer, and snowboarding, ice fishing, cross country skiing in the winter. Having lived in Edmonton for almost 10 years, Shalvin is a big Oilers fan and always hopeful for their success.

Shalvin graduated in 2014 with honor's from the Denturist Program in Edmonton, Alberta. He was practicing in Calgary until his love for the mountains brought him to Canmore. Shalvin is an active member of the College of Alberta Denturists (CAD), Denturist Association of Alberta (DAA), and the Denturist Association of Canada (DAC). Shalvin is particular on aesthetics and well-versed in providing fast denture treatments perfect for those in a time constraint and from out of town. He attends courses throughout the year to expand his knowledge. Shalvin is proud to be your Canmore Denturist as well as your Banff Denturist.
