Lacey was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. She danced in a traditional Polish folk group for 20 years, where she travelled North America and even Poland at various festivals.

Lacey moved to Calgary in her early 20's where she lived for many years, all the while coming out to the mountains often. She met her husband, Dallas in Calgary. They have 2 children, Caledon & Ava. One day they said, "That's it, we're moving out the mountains!" and so they did and haven't looked back since!

Lacey loves to hike, paddleboard and camp during the summer and enjoys cross country skiing in the winter (and the occasional winter hike).
